Our Story
Ice Planet first opened its doors on June 15, 1998! Life-long friends Bryan Callahan and Brian Incaprera decided to team up and bring genuine Hawaiian-style shaved ice to Carroll County! After researching some of the best shaved ice stands in and around Baltimore, they learned what made a truly unique snowball while still holding true to the Baltimore snowballs they had grown up enjoying. Their goal was simple: to provide a fine shaved ice powder in the tradition of a Hawaiian or New Orleans-style shaved ice, flavor it with the richest syrups made from pure cane sugar, mound it high in a cup, and serve it with a smile. From our early days in Eldersburg to adding our sister location, The Snowbar, in Hampstead in 2015, the customer has always been at the center of what we do!
